Marcello Cirillo and Demo Morselli & orchestra in “Tu vuo' fa' l'americano” – Friday 22nd March, 21pm
In its national premiere at the Trianon Viviani, this theatrical work by Massimo Cinque plays with a title by Carosone to tell the stories of the American dream of Italian emigrants in the twentieth century, with direction and singing by Cirillo, under the musical direction of Morselli.
There were around 40 million Italians who, with cardboard suitcases and a lot of hope, dreamed of making their fortune in America between the beginning of the twentieth century and the 60s. Many of them or their children have become relevant personalities (Madonna, Sinatra, DeNiro, Scorsese, Mancini, Capra), realizing their dream: the "American dream".
With the participation of the actress Francesca Borrelli – explain Cirillo and Morselli – "We tell a fairy tale with a happy ending, populated by human characters, accompanied by a dog and a seagull and marked by nostalgia for their homeland, the hope of a better life and the encounter with new cultures and traditions.".
An emotional musical story that unfolds between classics such as Torna a Surriento, 'O sole mio, 'O surdato 'nnammurato and Santa Lucia luntana, or Caruso by Dalla.
Tu vuò fa l'americano is produced by Clodio management.

Flo returns to the Trianon Viviani, Saturday 23 March, at 21pm, with the new recital “The song I owe you in music. Tale of pages and songs”.

Flo thus accompanies the public on a small educational journey which, starting from the Naples of Maradona and smuggling, arrives at the Biennale, from Paris to Mexico City.
A journey in ten chapters to tell as many extraordinary and unexpected encounters, which changed the life of the protagonist: including Maddalena, transsexual prostitute of the Salón Corona, De André, grandmother Antonietta, who removed the evil eye and prohibited music in the house, and the 'encounter with Love, which is born and which ends.
The evocative and daring voice intertwines with the notes of a guitar, both rhythmic and romantic, which moves between South American suggestions and songwriting.
