Yesterday evening, the police officers from the Police Station Vomero they intervened in via Merliani for a scooter theft. A man, accompanied by his son, had in fact reported the theft of his vehicle regularly parked on the street.
The police, with the support of a patrol of the Carabinieri of the Operational Nucleus, began the investigation. Thanks to the images of the local video surveillance systems, they identified the person responsible for the theft.
The 30-year-old Neapolitan, with a criminal record, was surprised and stopped in the same street while he was trying to recover the vehicle with which he had reached the place of the theft.
