I Carabinieri of the station Aversa, as part of the territorial control services, arrested a 35-year-old from Sant'Arpino for dealing and possession for the purpose of dealing of narcotics.
The man, already known to the police and with a criminal record for drug dealing, had been under observation for some time by the Carabinieri who, in recent days, had intensified checks in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and surrounding areas due to the presence of a drug dealing ring.
Yesterday evening, April 15, the 35-year-old was caught selling drugs to two North African citizens who, after purchasing the drugs, fled without a trace.
The pusher was immediately stopped by the Carabinieri and subjected to a personal search. During the operation, the military found 6 heat-sealed packages containing 8,83 grams of hashish and the sum of 85 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The arrested man was transferred to house arrest at his home pending the summary trial.
