In the Neapolitan cinematographic panorama, the appointment with the Bagnoli Film Festival is renewed, an event dedicated to promoting works that reflect contemporary social changes.
The event, conceived by Maurizio Capezza and curated by Giuseppe Borrone, a well-known cinema historian, has reached its second edition and will take place from May 1st to 5th at the CineTeatro La Perla Multisala in Naples.
The initiative will offer a selection of feature film previews, screenings of real cinema, short films and special moments dedicated to the homage to two important artists who recently passed away, Marcello Colasurdo and Enzo Moscato.
National Previews and Cinema of the Real
The first day, May 1st, includes the presentation of “Napoli s-velata” by Franco Cutolo, followed by the screening of the film “Desire'” by Mario Vezza. On May 2nd it will be the turn of “Procida”, made in 2022, and the debut of Lorenzo Cammisa with “Trentatre'”. On May 3rd Luca Miniero will present “Dalla parte sbagliata” and Fabio Massa will show “Global Harmony”. The day of May 4th will be dedicated entirely to short films, with a jury composed of experts in the sector who will evaluate the selected works. The screenings will be preceded by short films by established directors. The final day, May 5th, will be dedicated to the tribute to Marcello Colasurdo and Enzo Moscato with the screening of two works by the director Antonietta De Lillo.
Participation and Invitations
All events of the Bagnoli Film Festival include meetings with directors, producers and cast of the films in the program. Admission to the 18:20.30 p.m. screenings and the short film competition is by invitation only, available free of charge at the show's box office. For the evening screenings at 5:XNUMX p.m., the ticket price is XNUMX euros. Both film buffs and emerging artists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique cinematic experience, in the name of discovery and innovation.
