A 34-year-old from Calitri, in the province of, was arrested for mistreatment of cohabitants and family members Avellino.
The Carabinieri intervened in Sant'Andrea di Conza, where the partner and her minor children had taken refuge in her in-laws' house to escape her husband's violence.
The military stopped him while he was trying to break into the house after attacking his father, and by order of the Avellino Prosecutor's Office they transferred him to the Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi prison.
He was also reported for possession of two knives and a cutter that he kept in a backpack inside his car.
