Naples, from May 3 to 5, 2024, will become the hub of action for jet ski racing enthusiasts, with the highly anticipated first round of the 2024 Italian Jet Ski Championship. The picturesque Lungomare Caracciolo, facing the Rotonda Diaz beach, will host a series of exciting and technically advanced races.
The event, organized by the ASD Jet Ski Family Racing Team of Salvatore Babo with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and under the aegis of the Italian Motorboat Federation, will be an unmissable opportunity for fans of this sport. The categories and classes in the competition include a wide range of competitions, ranging from veterans to novices, from young talents to experienced professionals. With 23 different classes, including Runabout, Spark Youth, Ski, Freestyle and Endurance, there will be action for everyone.
The event will not only be a sporting challenge, but will also have a significant social impact. On Friday 3 May, before the start of free practice and races, a moving Mototherapy is planned, during which special kids will have the opportunity to take a lap of the circuit on jet skis. This initiative, organized in collaboration with the association “Noi posso APS”, has been dedicated to kids with autism for about 10 years, offering them unique and meaningful experiences.
The Naples stage also boasts the moral patronage of the Authority for the Protection of Childhood and Adolescence of the Campania Region, underlining the importance of inclusion and solidarity in the world of sport. The president of the Italian Motorboating Federation, Vincenzo Iaconianni, expresses optimism regarding the growth and success of the Italian Jet Ski Championship, underlining the increase in the quality of pilots, especially in the youth categories.
After Naples, the championship will head to other prestigious Italian locations, including Chioggia, Ancona, Santa Cesarea and Fiumicino, offering an unforgettable experience for riders and enthusiasts. With over 150 registered riders and great anticipation for the races, the 2024 Italian Jet Ski Championship promises to be an exciting and unforgettable season, which will take the sport of jet skiing to the next level.
