Thieves were on the loose last night in Casavatore . But this time, the heist failed because the alarm sounded and deterred the thieves who had broken into the Futuro Remoto phone shop in Acacie Park. The shutters were damaged and the burglar alarm was ripped off.
The owner posted the video on his social profiles accompanied by this comment: “It's never a good morning when the alarm in your shop wakes you up in the middle of the night. Unfortunately, last night yet another attempted theft took place against honest people, people who want to work and grow every day.
We are now neglected by everyone, abandoned by the institutions and the ones who pay the consequences are always the small neighborhood traders. But we do not stop, stopping would mean giving victory to these "criminals". Injured yes, dead never! We expect you regularly from Monday in store and always active for your shipments".
The Carabinieri have launched an investigation into the incident and are trying to track down the perpetrators.
