A series of important urban regeneration interventions have been made official in the Acquaviva district of Caserta. Thanks to the conclusion of the award of the works, the transformations that will involve the entire area will soon begin.
Financed with PNRR funds, the project includes the redevelopment of the streets, the creation of a cycle/pedestrian path, the improvement of the street furniture, the removal of architectural barriers and other works to improve the infrastructure in the neighborhood.
Another important intervention concerns the “Palavignola”, which will undergo an expansion and redevelopment to be able to host high-level sports competitions.
These works include the replacement of the roof tiles, the overhaul of the existing technological systems, the replacement of the sports flooring, the updating of the sports equipment and the construction of new stands that will increase the spectator capacity by over 2000 seats.
The Mayor of Caserta, Carlo Marino, stressed the importance of this project for the Acquaviva District, the most populous in the city. The redevelopment of the streets and the construction of new infrastructure will make the district more modern and provide essential services to the community.
Furthermore, the renovated Palavignola will host high-level sports competitions, confirming the Administration's commitment to promoting sports and expanding sports facilities in the city.
