A trade fair center dedicated to livestock farming destined to become the largest in Italy and ready to launch the challenge to Europe. An injection of confidence in young people and the great will to complete the works dedicated to the agricultural segment begun in recent years.
These are the good intentions launched by Casa Coldiretti by the Governor of Campania Vincenzo De Luca who today closed the cycle of seminars organized as part of Campania Alleva 2024.
The Governor was welcomed by the national vice president of Coldiretti Gennarino Masiello and the regional leaders led by the president Ettore Bellelli and the director Salvatore Loffreda. Great interest in the event branded Coldiretti which saw the speeches of professor Giuseppe Campanile of the Veterinary Department of Federico II, of the director of the Zooprophylactic Institute of the Mezzogiorno Antonio Limone.
The first thought is for the land workers: "I am the only president of Campania who knows the farmers, knows what they look like. I come from the land like them and seeing this enthusiasm, so many young people, so many girls is good, gives hope for the future. The exhibitors have tripled and we are also committed financially to make sure that this becomes the first livestock fair in Italy, the equivalent of Vinitaly for northern Italy".
There was also space for the hosts, the mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella, and for the event organizer Davide Minicozzi, president of the Campania – Molise Breeders.
Governor De Luca also signed the petition against fake Made in Italy food: "We cannot have production costs that are three times higher than those of our competitors and Europe must guarantee competition on equal terms. This has not happened so far. Obviously, our parliamentarians must also intervene in this direction: many times at the European tables ours were absent, leaving everything to be decided by France and Germany".
The aim is to further grow the fair: “This is an extraordinary event for the promotion of our products, which are excellent, from the buffalo supply chain to the research and promotion activities of the typical species of our territories that are a title of merit for Coldiretti and for those who organize this fair. But also species that are being rediscovered, such as the Persian horse and the Neapolitan horse”.
