The State is making its presence felt in the Fuorigrotta area, the scene of the Camorra ambush the other evening at the amusement park in Piazza Italia, in which Luisa Mangiapaia, who was with her young daughter, was injured.
And the results have arrived as two pistols were seized and sent to the scientific section to establish whether they had been used in recent bloody incidents, but also contraband cigarettes and watches and gold of dubious origin and finally a fair amount of drugs.
This morning in fact approximately 200 operators from the various police forces carried out numerous searches in the Phlegraean area (Lauro district, Fuorigrotta, Bagnoli, Pianura), giving continuity to the “high impact” services of the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza.
'Through the work carried out, several individuals were identified, some of whom were reported for various reasons and many punished with administrative sanctions for possession of drugs for personal use.
During the operation, officers seized two pistols, both with their serial numbers removed, along with their ammunition, several brand-name watches, gold jewelry of suspicious origin, 8 kg of processed foreign tobacco without the State Monopoly seal, a television with a video surveillance system connected to monitor the public road, hundreds of counterfeit products, primarily perfumes and cosmetics, found at the local market in Fuorigrotta, as well as cash and various quantities of drugs such as hashish, cocaine, and marijuana.
The joint activity saw the participation of personnel from the Naples Flying Squad, the Bagnoli, Pianura, San Paolo Police Stations, the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, the Mobile Unit, the UOPI, the Dog Units and the Scientific Police; the Carabinieri of the Naples Group, the Investigative Unit, the API, the Dog Units and the Bomb Squad.
Furthermore, the Guardia di Finanza with the ATPI component of the Naples Emergency Response Group and the canine units, the Torre Annunziata Group, the Giugliano in Campania Group, the Frattamaggiore Group and personnel from the Pef Nucleus, the I and II Nom of Naples and the Capodichino Company.
The activity in question saw the participation of Fire Brigade personnel and was monitored from above by the helicopters of the VI Flight Department of the State Police and the Air Section of the Naples Air Force Operations Department.
