After an extraordinary season that ended with promotion to Serie B, Juve Stabia is preparing to receive further recognition for its outstanding performances. On May 7th, at 15:00 PM, at the Metropolitan Council Hall of Santa Maria la Nova in Naples, the Metropolitan City will honor the team for its championship triumph.
The ceremony will feature key figures from the Castellammare di Stabia club, from the president to the players, the coach and coaching staff, and the management, all celebrated for their roles in this record-breaking season. Promotion was secured with four matchdays to spare, culminating in a memorable celebration at the Romeo Menti stadium in Castellammare di Stabia last Saturday.
The team and staff will be awarded the prize by the Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi , who will be joined by the Metropolitan Councilor responsible for Sport, Youth and Events, Sergio Colella , who curated the initiative, by the Metropolitan Councilors responsible for Civil Protection, Salvatore Flocco , and for Territorial Promotion, Vincenzo Cirillo , and by the entire Assembly of Santa Maria la Nova.
"This is a highly significant victory," stated the mayor, "for several reasons. Football is now fully recognized as a key driver of regional development, and it's therefore important that the Neapolitan metropolitan area has two teams that are taking a stab at the game that matters, that generates big numbers and boosts the economy.
Furthermore, this victory shows that in the metropolitan area of Naples it is possible to plan and build realities of substance that are able to excel in the South and throughout the country. My congratulations and those of the entire Metropolitan City, therefore, to the team, the President and the entire club, with enormous gratitude for having given great joy to the fans of Castellammare and beyond and for having projected a city like Castellammare onto the great stages”.
