La State Police arrested a violent husband in the historic center following repeated attacks against the wife.
The agents of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office intervened in the historic center of Napoli following the report of a woman attacked by her husband during a territorial control service.
The situation was described as particularly serious, with the man threatening his wife with a knife in front of their children, before punching her in the chest. A family member who intervened allowed the woman to hide in the bathroom until the police arrived.
The woman was found in an evident state of agitation and told the officers that she had received continuous threats, including death threats, from her husband. The man was stopped and arrested for mistreatment in family.
