Last night, thieves targeted a shop on Via Marina that sells technology devices and televisions. The shop belongs to the husband of former Naples councilor Monia Aliberti, a member of the executive branch of the previous De Magistris administration. The business, located near the Hotel Romeo, sells IT products, smartphones, televisions, and other technological devices.
The shop, located in via Cristoforo Colombo, a short distance from the Maritime Station and Molo Beverello, is in a central and popular area of Naples, always very crowded thanks to the constant presence of tourists and travelers. It is not the first time that the shop has become the target of thieves.
The police are investigating the theft and are examining images from numerous public and private cameras in the area.
"My husband has been working with dedication, passion, and integrity for almost 40 years, defending himself from an increasingly aggressive and unethical online market. But in this city, apparently, that's not enough," Monia Aliberti commented on her Facebook profile, posting photos of the broken-in shop.
