The man, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, had been admitted to hospital at around 18pm with a red code for a “isolated head trauma and otorrhagia”.

The victim died due to cardiac arrest and, according to an initial reconstruction, the 118 staff had assisted the man in Piazza del Mercato, near Caritas.
The causes of death appear to be due to a fall. Investigations are underway by the Carabinieri of the Naples Borgo Loreto Station, while the Public Prosecutor's Office Napoli ordered the seizure of the body for a subsequent autopsy.
