During the night between Sunday and Monday, a man was arrested by the State Police after having attacked a motorist and the officers who intervened in Piazza Sannazaro in Naples.
The incident occurred during a routine patrol of the territory by officers from the San Ferdinando Police Station. The officers were alerted by the Operations Room following a report of a female driver being attacked by a window cleaner.
When they arrived at the scene, the police officers were approached by the woman who pointed out a man nearby as the person who had damaged the windshield of her car.
The man, a 41-year-old Moroccan with a police record, immediately showed intolerance to the police check and began to swear at the officers. After a struggle, the officers managed to stop him.
Even once he was escorted to the company car, the man continued to attack, damaging one of the police car's windows.
For these reasons, the 41-year-old was arrested for aggravated damage, injury and resisting a public official.
