Dumps rubbish on the street in Naples and runs away at the sight of the officers: stopped

A decisive intervention by the Municipal Police of Naples led to the seizure of a truck used for the illegal dumping of waste on Via Provinciale ai Monti. The action was carried out following a detailed report, accompanied by a photographic report, provided by inspectors from Asia, the municipal company in charge of waste management.

The officers intercepted a man while he was dumping a considerable amount of waste directly on the road. When he was discovered, the individual attempted to flee on board the same truck used to transport the waste. This gave rise to a brief chase that ended when the man, abandoning the vehicle, fled on foot, thus eluding capture.

The truck was immediately seized by the agents of the Environmental Operations Unit of the Municipal Police, who have now started investigations to identify the person responsible and proceed with the complaint to the judicial authorities. The fight against the phenomenon of waste abandonment is a priority to ensure cleanliness and respect for the urban environment.
