**Film Workshop in San Patrignano with Paolo Ruffini: a new artistic experience**
The San Patrignano film project, featuring Paolo Ruffini, has begun, aiming to offer an opportunity for artistic and personal growth for the Community's guests. Thanks to its collaboration with the Giffoni Film Festival, the Sanpa Cine Lab, directed by Ruffini, aims to engage and train two distinct groups: actors and thinkers.
**A training focused on acting and directing**
The workshop includes a common initial phase dedicated to the History of Cinema, followed by the division into specific paths to delve into acting on one side and direction and screenwriting on the other. All technical roles will be entrusted to guests of the Community, including set designers and costume designers. In addition, cinema masterclasses will be organized by experts in the sector such as Stefano Ascari and Gabriele Colferai, offered thanks to the partnership with Giffoni.
**Presentation of the short film at the Giffoni Film Festival**
At the end of the training course, the first short film will be made, entirely shot and produced within San Patrignano. This work will be presented as a preview at the 54th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival, a prestigious event scheduled from 19 to 28 July.
The involvement of all three entities involved – San Patrignano, Giffoni and Paolo Ruffini – underlines the importance of cinema as a means of artistic expression and a vehicle for social communication. Through art and culture, new ways are sought to unite people, countering the illusion of distance and promoting authentic bonds.
