Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Scampia Police Station , during a check, noticed a man handing an envelope to a motorcyclist in Via Ernesto Rossi.
The two, as soon as they realized the police were there, ran away. The motorcyclist abandoned the vehicle, losing the bag, and disappeared on foot, while the accomplice was stopped nearby with three cell phones and 1.475 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations.
The officers recovered the abandoned bag, finding 70 packages containing cocaine, for a total of about 29 grams, and 41 cylinders with about 19 grams of heroin. The 29-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police, was then arrested for possession of narcotics.
