This morning, students from the Tasso Comprehensive School in Sorrento demonstrated their commitment to environmental protection by actively participating in a major cleanup initiative on the Marina Grande beaches. The event was organized by the Sorrento City Council's Department of the Environment, with the participation of the President of the City Council.
The cleanup activities were conducted with the valuable support of Salvatore Ioviero, of Salboat, who has long been involved in the protection and conservation of the sea. The President of the Sorrento City Council, Luigi Di Prisco, expressed great satisfaction for the success of the initiative and actively took part in the cleanup operations together with the boys.
“The value of the support of the new generations in the defense of the environment is inestimable”, Di Prisco declared. “Our young people, our kids, are doing today what we should have done many years ago and will continue to do in the future. They are aware that defending the environment means defending ourselves and our future.”
