Today, Monday 22 April, a delegation of 85 students from the Stabia Space Village Network Agreement met with Colonel Walter Villadei at the “Luigi Broglio” auditorium of the Italian Space Agency (ASI) in Rome. During the initiative, promoted by Adecco and ASI, a Round Table on space careers was held (moderators Germana Galoforo of ASI and Raffaella Febbo of Adecco).
Astronaut Villadei then spoke to a total audience of 500 students as part of the educational program for innovation and career guidance, AEROSPACE JOB TALKS, promoted by the Italian Space Agency (ASI). During the event, the video of the Space Village was shown and a plaque in homage to the astronaut was presented by Nina Salza, founder of the initiative. The plaque depicts, in particular, the launch program of the Space Factory Group, which over the last two years has sent 5 successful missions into Space.
The Stabia Space Village project has united 13 high schools in the province of Naples with the Liceo Scientifico F- Severi of Castellammare di Stabia as the leader, to create a tutoring path for new “young” start-ups and a growth process for youth businesses. Currently, 4 Space Young Hubs have been launched in the schools of the Network Agreement and 4 projects have been funded with scholarships.

Pantaleo (Torre Del Greco); “Pascal” Scientific High School (Pompeii); ITIS “R. Elia” (Castellammare di Stabia); IIS Mattei – Fortunato (Eboli); Classical High School “Plinio Seniore” (Castellammare di Stabia). For its purposes, SPACE VILLAGE has so far received the patronage of ASI, Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, Campania Aerospace District – DAC, Anton Dohrn Zoological Station of Naples, Unico Energia, Graded, Metropolis, Gruppo AET and Garden Club Stabiae.
