The carabinieri of the station of Gragnano they are intensifying controls against illegal building, monitoring various construction sites in the town south-east of Naples.
During these activities, three people were reported who were renovating a property on Via SS per Agerola, with the aim of transforming it into a pizzeria, without the relevant permits and in an area subject to seismic surveillance and landscape restrictions. The entire property was preventively seized.
In Agerola, the Carabinieri of the local station were engaged in a similar operation and reported three people, including the owner, a building contractor and a surveyor.
The military, during a check on via Paipo, discovered that the three had built a two-story building with an attic, covering a total area of about 350 square meters, without the necessary landscape authorization and without the required filing with the civil engineering department. The entire area was seized.
The checks will continue in the coming days to further combat illegal building in the Monti Lattari area.
