Massimiliano Allegri and Guido Vaciago, director of Tuttosport, have put an end to the controversy that saw them as protagonists after the Coppa Italia final won by Juventus against Atalanta. Through a joint statement to Ansa, the two announced that they have resolved the media incident that occurred in the last few hours.
“In the post-match Atalanta-Juventus and regarding the media back-and-forth that took place yesterday, coach Massimiliano Allegri and Tuttosport director Guido Vaciago declared that, after speaking to each other, they resolved the unfortunate situation that concerned them and defined all their issues with a spirit of collaboration and a sense of responsibility”, it is read.
“Massimiliano Allegri expressed regret for what happened on Wednesday night, explaining that he had no intention of threatening or insulting Guido Vaciago. Thus, the climate of cordiality, relaxation and maximum human and professional respect that has always existed has been re-established between them”, concludes the statement.
