The arrest of a 25-year-old German, Filix Stoils, accused of having attacked the elderly owner of the Fiorillo bar in via Santa Maria di Costantinopoli in the historic centre of NapoliThe victim, Vincenzo Fiorillo, 91 years old, is the father of the current owner of the place.
The attack, which took place on May 1, caused serious injuries to the elderly man who was rushed to the Cardarelli hospital. The young aggressor, homeless and with no criminal record, was taken to prison on charges of very serious injuries.
The attack occurred in a nightlife area and the reasons that led to this violent act are still unclear at the moment. The victim fell to the ground during the attack and suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, which required his immediate hospitalization with a red code.
The Carabinieri are conducting investigations to shed light on the reasons for the attack and to ensure justice for the perpetrator. It remains to be understood what triggered this attack and why the elderly man was targeted in such a violent manner.
