Risk of collapse in the historic center: three people reported by the local police. In an area of the historic center, on Via Vittorio Emanuele, local police officers and firefighters intervened following a report of collapse of a floor of a residential building.
It was found that the owners of the building, developed on two floors, which was also in a dilapidated state, had not been involved in safety and reinforcement works, representing a danger to the public safety of passers-by and residents with the possible fall and ruin of the same. The officers under the command of commander Biagio Chiariello immediately secured the occupants and when the municipal technician arrived on site, a special order and notice of the works were issued.
In the meantime, the three owners have been reported for omitted work, informing the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples North, which has opened a file. The response given by the agents is a clear response to those who have properties and do not take care of the safety requirements. The crime is provided for by the current penal code and in the meantime, following the complaint with registration in the register of suspects, the owners have entrusted the work to a company that is already at work.
