Yesterday morning, the officers of the Police Station Secondigliano, during the territory control service, while passing through via Monte Faito, they noticed a parked car which, following a check, turned out to be stolen.
During the process of returning the vehicle to its rightful owner, the operators discovered that extortion was being carried out against the owner.
The subsequent activities carried out by the police allowed them to identify the alleged perpetrators and catch them red-handed when one of them, in order to remove the hidden car, was surprised inside its passenger compartment while his accomplice attempted to escape in vain.
For these reasons, the suspects, identified as two Neapolitans aged 18 and 30, with police records, even specific, were arrested for attempted aggravated extortion and receiving stolen goods; the 30-year-old was also arrested for resisting a Public Official.
