In the last few hours, the Carabinieri of the Giugliano company have intensified controls on the city territory, focusing especially on areas with high traffic density and on public safety. The results of these operations were not long in coming, with several reports and seizures that have brought to light some problems related to local crime.
Among the most significant cases, that of a young man of only 17 years old, resident in the city, stands out, reported for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing. During the search he was found in possession of 14 grams of hashish, a sign of early involvement in the world of dealing.
A 31-year-old individual was also involved in a similar situation, with the Carabinieri finding 5 doses of cocaine on him. This episode highlights the importance of controls to combat the spread of drug trafficking in the area.
Another relevant situation emerged during the checks, regarding a 20-year-old from Qualiano found in possession of a homemade nunchaku. This instrument was seized and the young man will answer for illegal possession of weapons, underlining the attention of the police forces also towards unconventional weapons.
The list of violations found does not stop here: a 52-year-old Neapolitan was caught driving under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol level well above the legal limit. An irresponsible behavior that puts at risk not only his own life, but also that of other road users.
In addition, over 40 traffic violations were reported, mainly for driving without a helmet and lack of insurance coverage. These intensive checks demonstrate the constant commitment of law enforcement to ensuring safety and compliance with the laws on the territory.
