He fell into the Ofanto river while walking with his owner along the bank in the territory of Lioni, in the province of Avellino.

The alarm raised by the girl to the Fire Department prevented the worst. The dog was unable to come up from the water and was on the verge of being swept away. A team from the Lioni Detachment intervened on the spot and managed to recover him safe and sound.
