**Josè Vicente Quirante Rives: his new book “Twelve Wrinkled Heralds”**
Casa Editrice Colonnese and the Regional Directorate of Museums Campania present “Dodici araldi wrinkzosi”, the story by Josè Vicente Quirante Rives included in the series “Lo Specchio di Silvia”. The event will take place on Tuesday 7 May at 17.00:XNUMX pm in the suggestive Refectory of the Certosa di San Martino in Naples.
Inspiration and Content of the Story
Josè Vicente Quirante Rives, inspired by the works of the prophets painted by Ribera in the Certosa di San Martino, has created twelve chapters that tell an intimate dialogue between History and Spirit, in the shadow of the monastery. Through a lively and curious investigation, the author explores the wrinkled details of Jusepe de Ribera's prophets, in search of a key to understanding in the perspective of the "new Jerusalem" of the Apocalypse.
The Author and the Events
Josè Vicente Quirante Rives is a Spanish lawyer and writer with a degree in philosophy, known for his essays on Spanish Naples. The presentation will feature important figures such as historian Aurelio Musi and writer Antonella Cilento, moderated by journalist Giuseppe Pesce. The event will be introduced by the director of the Certosa e Museo di San Martino, Francesco Delizia.
