On May 18, the Teatro Area Nord will come alive with an exciting evening of contemporary dance, on the occasion of the TANz festival, organized by Interno 5. Spectators will have the pleasure of attending two separate performances that will begin at 19:00 p.m.
“Zoologia” by Lupa Maimone: Imagination and Choreography
The first show on the program, “Zoologia”, will see the artist Lupa Maimone on stage in an adventure of choreographic research. This performance transforms the stage into a habitat of chimera and zooiatric creatures evoked by human corporality and imagination. A performance that promises to reveal an internal bestiary full of wonderfully horrid and imaginative creatures.
“Sa Rose” by Nyko Piscopo: A Dialogue Between Dance and Environment
Afterwards, the audience will be captivated by the movements of the Cornelia company that brings “Sa Rose” to the stage. This work, created by Nyko Piscopo and interpreted by Marta Ledeman and Antonello Tello, is a contemporary interpretation of the famous “Le Spectre de la Rose” by Michel Fokine. With this representation, Piscopo intends to sensitize the spectators towards crucial issues such as environmental protection and sentimental education, through the grace and expressiveness of dance.
Access to the Theatre: “Polibus” Shuttle Service
To facilitate the arrival at the Teatro Area Nord, the Municipality of Naples provides, upon reservation, the shuttle service "Polibus". This will allow the public to comfortably reach the location and immerse themselves in the art of contemporary dance, without having to worry about transportation.
The TANz festival is once again proposing itself as an unmissable event for dance and live entertainment enthusiasts, promising to leave those present breathless and with a new cultural and ecological awareness.
