Last night, the police officers from the police station Vicar-Mercato, during a control operation, they noticed in vico Foglie a Carbonara a man who, leaving a house, was handing a small bag to another person in exchange for a banknote.
The police intervened immediately to interrupt the criminal activity, blocking the suspect. They found him in possession of 8 packages of cocaine for a total weight of about 4 grams and 545 euros, clearly the proceeds of illegal activities. The buyer, stopped shortly after, had with him a package of the same substance weighing about 0,5 grams.
The 66-year-old, a Neapolitan with a criminal record, including for similar crimes, was arrested for illicit possession and transfer of narcotics, while the buyer was administratively sanctioned for possession of drugs for personal use.
