Filippo Turetta he had written down in a file on his computer – deleted but later recovered by computer experts – “how to tie Giulia up, with adhesive tape on her hands, ankles, knees and even how to cover her mouth”.
This emerges from the documents of the notice of conclusion of the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office, cited by Corriere della Sera. Giulia's ex-boyfriend had constructed "in detail" his "ruthless criminal plan", planning it "at least since November 7", four days before the fact. In his internet searches, the newspaper writes, terms such as "insulating tape, handcuffs, cordage, shovel, black bags" appeared.
According to Il Corriere del Veneto, Filippo Turetta allegedly stabbed his ex-girlfriend Giulia Cecchettin, who was killed on November 75, 11 times.
The aggravating circumstance of cruelty is given by the relentlessness: 75 stab wounds "of which only 20 resulting from the victim's defense", hit "several times also on the face", disfigured in a way "clearly exceeding the homicidal intent".
Giulia had first been hit with “repeated kicks” while she was on the ground, while trying to escape in the industrial area of Fossò, a few meters from her home, in Vigonovo. It was there that, between 23.14 pm and 23.40 pm, she had shouted at her killer: “Stop it, you’re hurting me like this.”
