Casoria transforms into a lively stage on May 18, when the Municipality of Casoria, with the support of the Metropolitan City of Naples, inaugurates “In-Canto Santità Casoria”. The event, which begins at 10:30, will offer an intense day of events involving art, music, culture and charitable actions.
Charity and Entertainment for All Ages
The Mayor of Casoria Raffaele Bene expressed great enthusiasm about the event, highlighting the transversal involvement of different generations and the importance of promoting entertainment, cohesion and solidarity through the enhancement of urban spaces. In this perspective, “Casoriarrevota” is not only a set of concerts but a real collective experience that celebrates the city.
Musical Show and Artistic Direction
The evening features a line-up of more than 20 artists organized by artistic directors Massimo Jovine and Gianni Simioli, who will bring different energies and sounds to the stage. From 20:00 pm, the audience will be able to watch performances by artists such as Marsica, Ciccio Merolla and many others, with a busker music pre-show at 19:00 pm.
Matinee for the Little Ones
There will also be moments dedicated to children with morning activities that include workshops, magic shows and acrobatic circus, and the iconic exhibition of the “largest tart in the world”, set up to raise funds for research into rare pediatric diseases and for the renovation of dedicated healthcare facilities.
Historical and Artistic Heritage
Culture will be the protagonist with extraordinary openings of historical sites and museums, including basilicas and churches, which will be animated by guided tours aimed especially at children, demonstrating the rich cultural heritage of Casoria.
Comics and Solidarity
From 16:00 pm, there will also be space for graphic art with the exhibition “Falestin Hurra”, dedicated to supporting the Palestinian cause, where internationally renowned cartoonists lend their art for a just cause and the conflictual history of these territories is narrated through powerful images and explanatory captions.
Literary and Musical Presentations
Finally, moments of cultural exploration take place at the Mondadori Store with exclusive presentations of albums and books by artists such as Valerio Jovine and Andrea Tartaglia, joining the trend of actions that promote cultural exchange and growth.
With a variety of activities ranging from music to charity, through art and the valorization of the historical-cultural heritage, “In-Canto Santità Casoriarrevota” is destined to become a regular event for the city and its inhabitants.
