The Federal Prosecutor's Office of the FIGC has announced the start of proceedings regarding the alleged threats received by the director of Tuttosport, Guido Vaciago, from Juventus coach, Massimiliano Allegri. This decision was taken in light of the statements released by the journalist himself.
“You shitty editor! Yes, you shitty editor. Write the truth in your newspaper, not what society tells you! Stop making deals with society”, the words that Vaciago attributes to Allegri and that he reported in an article published today in the Turin sports daily. And again: “Look, I know where to come and get you. I know where to wait for you. I’ll come and tear off both your ears. I’ll come and hit you in the face. Write the truth in the paper.”
According to Ansa, hearings are planned for both Vaciago and Allegri, along with witnesses to the episode. In addition, the Prosecutor's Office will acquire any available footage to accurately reconstruct what happened. The story has been widely discussed and has raised concerns in the sports and journalistic world.
