Camorra, the corrupt inspector had invested 20 thousand euros in the bakery of the Contini clan

The traffic police inspector on duty in Avellino, Guido Albano, under house arrest since yesterday on charges of participating in a Camorra association aggravated by the fact of being a public official and fraudulent transfer of money, had also invested 20 thousand euros in his brothers-in-law's bakery Massimiliano DiCaprio and Vincenzo Capozzoli (both in prison) in Via Dei Tribunali in Naples.

From the investigations and thanks to telephone and environmental interceptions, it emerges that Inspector Albano "provided his active collaboration in resolving issues relating to the authorisations and permits required for the opening of Di Caprio's new business and was involved in the management of the bakery (for the staff in charge of baking, for the selection of products to use for the dough), not disdaining to resolve Di Caprio's troubled relationship with his wife, Deborah Capasso".

But the inspector had also invested €20 in the bakery. This is what emerges from a wiretapped conversation between Massimiliano DiCaprio and accountant Giulia Nappo.
DICAPRIO: "I don't even want to say anything to Guido anymore... Guido is handsome... Guido... I pay the rent and I'll take care of him... I pay the rent... and I'll take care of him... but doctor, what are we doing here...?!".
NAPPO: "but that Guido is a partner with you... Massimo??
DICAPRIO: "Doctor, but Guido is a partner where...!!?? With his mouth... I pay... I've been paying the landlord for a year and a half... it's been twelve months, doctor..."
Nappo: "Has Guido never given you anything??"
DICAPRIO: "incom- I'll pay all the installments myself ..."
Napkin: "Yes, I understand, this is something else... but has he ever reciprocated anything to you... Massimiliano?"
DICAPRIO: "€20.000,00 but I'll give it back to you..."

The full involvement of the police inspector is confirmed by another wiretap in which Di Caprio, speaking on the phone with the policeman, states: “…we need to talk in person… something important to do with work… something for your children and your grandchildren too… because I can only do this important thing with you”; Albano confirms that it would be appropriate to meet in person: “We need to meet in person tomorrow… I understand.”
