The solemn procession of the bust of San Gennaro, patron saint of the city, began from the Cathedral of Naples. The procession, which will pass through the pulsating heart of the historic center, will culminate in the Basilica of Santa Chiara, where the Archbishop of Naples, Monsignor Domenico Battaglia, will celebrate the Holy Mass.

The streets of the historic center, crowded with the faithful and curious tourists, came alive with the passage of the religious procession. Among the simulacra of the patron saints of the city, that of San Gennaro stands out, carried on the shoulders of the devotees.
