The crime wave in Naples continues unabated. Last night, a tobacco shop on Via Cilea in Vomero was burglarized . Thieves forced open the shutters and stole cigarettes, cash, scratch cards, and other items.
The tobacconist's owner, exasperated by yet another theft, reported the incident to Green-Left Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli. "I can't stand this city overrun by criminals anymore ," he vented his anger.
“They stole everything last night, and the worst thing is that the citizens called the Carabinieri several times, but no one intervened. Only after several attempts did a patrol car arrive, but it was too late. The thieves had already fled.”
