The Pignatelli Cortés Museum is a rare and extraordinary example of a house museum in Naples . A small oasis of tranquility along the Riviera di Chiaia, the museum is located inside Villa Pignatelli, a princely residence dating back to 1826 that still today bears witness to the taste and elegance of the aristocratic families who once lived there.
The Pignatelli Cortés Museum has many pleasant surprises in store. You can admire period furnishings, rich leather wallpapers embossed in gold and the sober Dining Room, recently restored to its former splendor with the display of the table set with plates and cutlery from the Pignatelli household. The furnishings are completed by splendid 19th-century furniture, gilded bronze furnishings and precious porcelains that well describe the passion and taste of its owners for the applied arts.

The CARRIAGE MUSEUM
Located in the former stables of the villa, this particular museum, unique in its kind, is set up according to the most modern museographic criteria and presents a collection of thirty-four examples of carriages and gigs of French, English and Italian production from the late 800th and early 900th centuries and is accompanied by hundreds of leather harnesses, bits, whips, harnesses and objects of various types intended for the care of the horse, ranging from mouth openers to mane combs, to singeing combs, to hoof-covering shoes.
To bring the younger audience closer to a world now past and forgotten, some multimedia stations have been created for in-depth study with progressive screens, analytical cards, information and curiosities. For the little ones, a fake carriage has been created, a play-educational station with interactive games for building the carriage and dressing the horse and coachman. Finally, a video presents a selection of period films on the use of carriages.
The cardioprotection project took into account not only the two museums but also the large English garden. The life-saving device installed was accompanied by a personalized signage panel that does not distract the visitor's attention from the perception of the exhibition context. Furthermore, it was installed in a highly functional and designer alarmed case, precisely to make its presence pleasant for all visitors.
To complete the installation, the Auexde company that took care of the project, offered the usual TECHNICAL TRAINING in order to make all employees familiar and aware of the use of the AED.

They are very simple to use, because the rescuer is supported by the voice guide that indicates the steps to be taken. Furthermore, precisely because of the autonomy of the defibrillator in cardiac diagnosis, the rescuer is exempt from any liability (art.54 cp).
