The Local Police, in collaboration with the State Police, conducted checks at the Airport Capodichino in Naples.
During the operation, 20 taxis and NCC vehicles were checked, with 12 violations being found. Among the violations found, three illegal taxi drivers were identified, one of whom was without insurance coverage. One driver was found driving with an expired license, while two were fined for not displaying the fare list on board and one for not issuing a receipt.
An illegal street vendor was fined and his goods were seized in accordance with the law. The recent action of the Local Police in Naples has highlighted the importance of controls to combat the phenomenon of illegal taxis, ensuring legality and safety in the transport sector.
Targeted interventions to identify and sanction illicit conduct, such as the lack of proper documentation and violation of current regulations, contribute to protecting both citizens and regular operators in the sector.
