On Sunday, May 19, at 11:00, an important moment will take place in the heart of Secondigliano, Naples, with the inauguration of the new soccer field in Parco Laudati, located in Via del Cassano 230, in front of the municipal cemetery. This event marks the culmination of an important work carried out by the Fondazione Il Fatto Quotidiano, the humanitarian foundation of the newspaper of the same name, with the precious support of Vuolo Group, which has made possible the redevelopment of a structure neglected for twenty years.
The redevelopment of the approximately 1000mXNUMX structure located in the Fiori district, a former stronghold of the Di Lauro clan, is the result of the community's incessant commitment, embodied in the Secondigliano ASD, a non-profit project dedicated to combating truancy among young people and promoting sociality through sport.
In just two years since its foundation, Secondigliano ASD has already enrolled around 200 athletes, from the age of 7 to 40, offering them unparalleled opportunities to grow and develop both as athletes and as individuals. The inauguration will see the participation of prominent figures who have demonstrated a constant commitment to promoting legality, especially among the youngest.
Among those present were the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor, Giovanni Melillo, the Attorney of Naples, Nicola Gratteri, the Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, the President of the Fatto Quotidiano Foundation, Cynthia Monteverdi, the Deputy Director of the Fatto Quotidiano, Maddalena Oliva, who conceived and curated the project, the President of FIGC Campania, Carmine Zigarelli, the CEO of Vuolo Group, Francesco Origo and numerous other representatives of third sector associations.
