A 25 year old pizza chef was the victim of an attack yesterday evening in the Fuorigrotta neighbourhood of Napoli. The man was stabbed by a 49-year-old colleague, who fled. The attack took place inside the pizzeria La Partenopea on Viale Kennedy.
The victim suffered injuries to the chest and side and was rushed to the San Paolo hospital before being transferred to the Mare di Fano hospital. Ponticelli, where he underwent surgery.
The young man was treated at San Paolo and then transferred to the'Hospital of the Sea, where he underwent emergency surgery; his life is not in danger.
The reasons for the injury are still unclear, according to initial reconstructions it would have arisen from an argument that arose while the two were at work, around 21.30 pm yesterday. The young man went by his own means to the Emergency room of the Fuorigrotta hospital, was hit by at least two stab wounds: one in the subcostal area and the other in the left side; transferred to thePonticelli Hospital, after the surgery he was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.

The officers from the San Paolo police station arrived at the hospital and then went to the pizzeria in search of the 49-year-old; however, the man had already disappeared and is currently untraceable. The police from the Scientific Police also intervened in the restaurant; the weapon used is believed to be a kitchen knife.
The police are investigating the incident and are trying to track down the stabber.
The pizzeria is managed by Alfredo Nocerino the father of Vincent, the young college student found dead in his car along with his girlfriend Vida Shahvalad due to asphyxiation last March in a garage in Secondigliano.
