The Carabinieri of the Naples Central Company, together with the soldiers of the Campania Regiment, carried out checks among the young people who frequent the nightlife of Spanish Neighborhoods and of Chiaia.
The protagonists were minors, cutting weapons, drugs and moped racing, without forgetting the presence of illegal parking attendants.
A 24-year-old from Acerra was arrested after being stopped in Piazza Miraglia, found in possession of XNUMX doses of marijuana already packaged for retail sale. The young man is awaiting trial and will have to answer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
Among the problems encountered during the checks, there is the tendency to hide knives under the justification of the need to defend oneself. A sixteen-year-old Neapolitan, with no criminal record, was found in possession of a 22-centimeter long switchblade and was reported.
Furthermore, four motorcyclists were caught in the alleys of the Spanish quarters and reported for driving without a license, with a repeat offense in the two-year period. Five illegal parking attendants were reported respectively in via Riviera a Chiaia, via Generale Orsini, via Nisco and via Imbriani.
