These are the numbers of Action Days carried out in the Land of Fires, degraded area between the provinces of Naples and Caserta, in the first four months of 2024; these are the extraordinary operations of territorial control against environmental crimes that have been carried out every week for some years now, following the planning of the Prefectures and Police Headquarters of Naples and Caserta and with the support of the Control Room of the Minister of the Interior's representative for the fight against waste fires, by the soldiers of the Campania Group - 1000 Army soldiers based at the 82nd infantry regiment "Turin" currently engaged - with the State Police, Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, local police forces of the municipalities involved and ASL. In the last Action Days, several commercial activities have been seized and the owners reported for environmental violations, with 60 thousand euros in fines issued.
