In an interview today on Timeline on Rai 3, the Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi expressed his expectations for the European Football Championships that began yesterday. Interviewed by Marco Carrara, Abodi spoke about the challenges and hopes for the national team, underlining the unpredictable nature of football and the strong competition at European level.
“Football is indecipherable, there are many other realities at a European level that want to compete with us”Said Abode, highlighting the difficulty of the competition. Despite this, the minister has set as his first objective that of “do well and defend the title of defending champions with honor.”
Abodi also highlighted the young age of the team and the presence of a new coach, known for his strong character. "It's a young team, with a new coach with a lot of character. It won't be easy but we need to start a competition with confidence", added the minister, transmitting a message of encouragement and confidence towards the Italian team.
