Afragola: 30-year-old bites Carabinieri during arrest, arrested with his wife
A 30-year-old from Afragola was arrested for resisting and injuring a public official after attacking the Carabinieri who had intervened to notify him of a conviction.
The man, already under house arrest for aggravated robbery, illegal possession of a weapon, assault, and resisting a public official, had been unavailable since last March.
Tracked down in an abandoned house on Via Falconieri, the 30-year-old tenaciously resisted arrest.

The 30-year-old's wife, a 22-year-old, also attempted to prevent her husband's arrest by pushing the officers away. Both spouses were arrested in flagrante delicto.

The injured Carabinieri were transported to Frattamaggiore Hospital for treatment. Their condition is not serious. The 30-year-old, after a hospital evaluation, was discharged with a one-day prognosis. His wife was not injured.
After completing the formal procedures, the 30-year-old will be taken to Poggioreale prison in Naples, while his 22-year-old wife will be placed under house arrest as ordered by the judicial authorities.
