Films, concerts, events and shows: in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio the magic of summer returns to the “Agorà”. Also this year the urban park of via Panoramica hosts, from 19 June to 8 September 2024, the third edition of “Agorà – San Sebastiano al Vesuvio”.

The event, part of the Rassegna del Verde 2024, is organized by Sirioevents in collaboration with Red Carpet and Napoli Jazz Club and enjoys the support of the Municipality of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio, the Metropolitan City of Naples, the Campania Region and the Film Commission.

After the success of last year's 12 spectators, this edition offers an even broader and more diversified program with the inauguration entrusted to Peppe Servillo & Solis String Quartet. In the large green area, with over 500 comfortable seats all numbered, it will be possible to follow a different event every day and throughout the summer, with two important novelties: the ticket for watching a film costs only 3,50 euros while, for theater shows, it will also be possible to buy a season ticket that includes all the shows at a cost of 90 euros.

From film nights with guests of the caliber of Matteo Garrone and Marco Bellocchio to great music with Fabrizio Bosso, Suonno d'ajere, Fiorenza Calogero, Lino Volpe without forgetting the theater with Michele Placido, Gianfranco Gallo, Maurizio De Giovanni and Marco Zurzolo. Laughter and comedy with Simone Schettino, Paolo Caiazzo. The July program will end with the Aria Film Festival, the event of shorts on environmental sustainability directed by Alex Marano, but there will be many surprises between August and September too.

Culture and art have an extraordinary power: to unite people, create connections, and enrich our lives. In an often frenetic and disconnected world, events like this offer us the opportunity to pause, share moments of joy and reflection, and feel part of a larger community. This festival is designed to offer everyone a variety of cultural experiences, including concerts, films, and performances by local and national artists. Furthermore, this year Agorà will once again host L'Aria Film Festival, a short film festival on environmental sustainability directed by director and producer Alex Marano. This edition will also feature short films from around the world. declared Giuseppe Panico, mayor of the municipality of San Sebastiano al Vesuvio.

“Sirioevents, for the summer of 2024, will coordinate the III Edition of “Agorà San Sebastiano al Vesuvio”. In the wake of the public success of the two previous editions, this year too we worked with a very specific objective: to offer quality shows at costs accessible to all. The proposal for the “Teatrando” festival within Agorà offers seven shows with artists of the caliber of Peppe Servillo & Solist Street Quartet, Michele Placido, Maurizio De Giovanni and Marco Zurzolo, Paolo Caiazzo, Simone Schettino and Irene Scarpato and Suonno d'Ajere. A new feature introduced is the possibility of purchasing a season ticket at a cost of 90 euros for viewing all the shows, on Ticket One or at the Agorà box office located at the entrance to the San Sebastiano Public Park”, declared Luigi Molfetta, artistic director of Sirioevent.

As a company with over twenty years of experience staging and managing film events, we are truly delighted to be hosting this third edition of Agorà San Sebastiano. This is a very important arena, the first in Campania to have reopened and become a hub for cultural events, thanks to this municipal administration. This year too, we will offer audiences a wealth of great cinema: many first-run films, as well as box office hits from the past year. And let's not forget that thanks to the "Cinema Revolution" initiative, tickets will be just €3,50. We will also be screening several titles featuring Matteo Garrone and Marco Bellocchio, and we will also be presenting numerous previews in August and September., said Giuseppe Minopoli, artistic director of Red Carpet.
