Naples. The trial for rigged tenders at ASL Napoli 1 ended with convictions and acquittals.
Among the defendants was former executive Loredana Di Vico, sentenced to seven years and ten months in prison. The executive was acquitted of three of the four corruption charges, "because the facts were not proven."
Entrepreneur Vincenzo Dell'Accio was sentenced to eight years in prison, while his brother Rosario received a sentence of three years and four months.
Doctors Giuseppe Tortoriello and Maurizio Postiglione were acquitted. Tortoriello was acquitted of the charge of bid rigging "for not having committed the crime," while he was acquitted of the corruption charge "because the crime did not exist." Postiglione was acquitted of all charges.
