"It's true, I threw her off the overpass after an argument.", he first confessed to the murder of his partner Giada Zanola and then recanted Andrea Favero.
Then, before the investigating judge, he recanted, saying that he was in a state of confusion when he made those statements, which, among other things, cannot be used against him because he has gone from being a witness to being a suspect and those statements were also made in the presence of his lawyer.
Favero is currently in prison at Due Palazzi in Padua, while his three-year-old son has been temporarily entrusted to the man's parents.
Today the date of Giada Zanola's funeral will be set, which will be held in Brescia, her hometown. In the meantime, in Vigonza, a day of mourning will be declared for that day.

This evening, at 20:30 PM, Giada's father will be present in Vigonza, where a candlelight vigil is planned in memory of his young mother. Thousands of people are expected for the event, which will start from Giada's home and end on the A4 overpass, exactly where her partner Andrea Favero allegedly threw her.
Giada was still alive when she was thrown from the overpass
Initial autopsy results suggest that Giada was still alive, though perhaps not fully conscious, when she was pushed from a height of 15 meters.
Favero's partial admissions to investigators indicate that, during a yet another argument, the man allegedly lifted Giada and threw her downstairs, where she was subsequently hit by a truck.
