This morning in Auletta, a small town in the province of Salerno, a powerful explosion occurred in a house, injuring one person.
The injured man, a man in his 70s, was rushed to the hospital by air ambulance due to severe burns. Initial suspicions suggest the explosion was caused by a faulty gas cylinder.
The firefighters intervened at the scene of the accident Sala Consilina, who extinguished the flames and secured the area, along with 118 paramedics who provided first aid to the man. The Carabinieri also arrived on the scene to investigate.
