The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy on the body of Cristina Frazzica, the 30-year-old researcher from Taurianova, who died after being hit by a motorboat last Sunday while she was kayaking in the sea of Posillipo, under Villa Rosebery, with a lawyer friend who managed to save himself.
The autopsy was ordered by the Naples prosecutor's office, which for two days has been investigating the Neapolitan lawyer Guido Furgiule for manslaughter and wants to ascertain how she died and what the nature of the trauma was that caused her to lose her life.
The victim's family, defended by the Caserta lawyer Gianluca Giordano, from Vigevano, in the province of Pavia, where they lived with their daughter who was in Naples for study, arrived in the city on Monday and met with the investigators.
Autopsy and technical investigations ordered by the Prosecutor's Office
Technical tests will also be arranged on the seized hull by the prosecutor, owned by the Neapolitan lawyer, and two other suspicious boats. And further technical investigations have been ordered on the canoe, to understand where it was hit and also at what speed.
As is standard procedure, both the only suspect at the moment and the victim's family now have the opportunity to appoint their own legal and medical consultants to assist in the autopsy, and only afterwards will the body of the unfortunate researcher be handed over to the family for the funeral.
