A 42-year-old man from Sturno, in the province of Avellino, has been transferred to prison. He is accused of attacking his elderly mother last week after she resisted his umpteenth demand for money. The man, already known to law enforcement for previous incidents of domestic violence, was the subject of a serious assault that prompted authorities to intervene swiftly.

During this period, the man allegedly subjected the mother to constant demands for money, accompanied by threats and acts of physical and psychological violence.
